European Historical Terrorism By Asar Imhotep Amen,Ph.D. What's faulty with the logic behind owning,controlling and self- determining the rise of an autonomous Afrikan Space within a territory dominated by the mind and weapons of Europe is that it has been repeatedly tried before to no avail. We have selectively forgotten the lessons of failure due to misreading the European's desperate intent to sustain none other except their order and Supremacy. We have conveniently forgotten that the land we now stand on was once the "possession" of the Indigenous people who are now disproportionately concentrated on ghettos called "reservations" and reduced to alcoholism. We have conveniently forgotten that Australia,New Zealand and Tasmania all were once the "possession" of aboriginal people who now are social outcasts disproportionately consumed by alcohol and other mind altering drugs. We have conveniently forgotten that Afrika once "belonged" to us. We have chosen not to see that even the war between Europeans and this land's Indigenous people has been renewed through battle against the fishing and casino rights long ago given them through official treaties with the white man. The forked tongue has not healed itself. Rhetorical ethic is inherently two-faced. All over the world we see Europeans' treacherous,thieving "footsteps". Some of us forgot. Others never knew that they described their’ own "Dark Ages" as a "State of perpetual War". In that time of open, internal strife,whenever and wherever muropean communities created Surplus,other Europeans would walk or ride in and take it by whatever violent means they had at hand. This behavior,still characteristic of Europeans whether in cleric's collar,shirt and tie or battle fatigues,and although now carried out with more sophistication,went on and on for many years. It was practice,preparation for world domination. Now,if they will treat their own like this ,how could webe so fucking naive to imagine that they would treat us better? Such an ahistorical and miscalculation could only be the Euroreasoning of domesticated subintegrationists. Liberation is a Question of Consciousness 2 Then,as now,the European mentality (psychopathic) cannot hide its need to have and control all. Western terrorism,and its projection of its terroristic mentality on others,reflects their innate intolerance of competition and difference.They will have all or no one will have anything. They will either have unconditional access Or no one will. In this respect,in a capitalistic System where profits are the basic motivation for living,terrorism has proven itself a most effective means by Europeans of preventing and removing undesirable competition from others. And,as such,it must be seen to primarily serve a political function. The cultural politics are not comlicated. In fact,they are extremely Simple.We make it complicated in trying to apologize for our inhumane treatment by others out of fear of their response to our speaking the truth. We make it complicated by expecting different behavior from a historical enemy,e.g., by expecting favorable decisions against innocent Afrikan males (and females) in the Western judicial system or by being deeply hurt and amazed that good and bad apples would still lynch so many of our sons and daughters. We make it even more complicated when we get upset when they do what ourstory tells us they must do-kill what they fear. In a capitalist system,economic domination insures cultural domination. Everyone wants to be like the winner. So,inorder to insure the Supremacy of European cultural imperatives until those they rule embrace them as their own,the strict economic domination of exploited by exploiter must remain an intricate part of the social landscape. Accordingly, anything that permits others to escape their direct exploitation by Europeans must be aggressively removed. When Europeans first encountered other people's worlds,they used the tactic of mass murder to psychologically disarm them in preparation for Systematic and total exploitation.Now, as then,the terroristic act must continue to be of such a psychotically irrational magnitude that it easily serves as a stark example of the response any future attempts at liberation will be met with. We must keep at the forefront of our remembrance that every encounter Europeans had with people not European ended in a violent confrontation. We must give credit where credit is due. For,indeed,they are the masters of "death destruction and domination". However,terrorism is not only physical violence. It is also psychological intimidation. Terrorism is a strategy with many tactics. Whatever is most effective in keeping people in a constant state of fear and inaction is employed. Whatever will keep them Spiritually,psychologically and materially off balance, whatever will have them unsure as to when and where their worst fears will traumatize them,will be used. In order for terrorism to be most effective,threats and action must be both ongoing and unpredictable. The hunting down of our youth in the streets by agents of the state, the bombing of Afrikan neighborhoods and churches,the murder of members of revolutionary and passive Afrikan organizations,the riots against Afrikans before both European wars on the world,the thousands of lynchings and the "retaliations" after real and imagined revolts by our enslaved Ancestors as well as the lynchings that still see no end,are but a very small number of examples where acts of terrorism were used to insure Our submission to the whim of white Supremacy. All these acts testify to a strong history of unwarranted,violent encroachment on peaceful, independent ,as well as passive,dependent,Afrikan communities.So it is illogical for us to expect Europeans to allow us to live in an autonomous, 3 independent peace in their midst without our enforcement of our freedom to be Afrikan in a language they can understand. Arguing otherwise makes no historical sense. No people can begin to feel safe in a historical climate of terrorism. Their accumulated frustration and uncertainty about the duration of the siege leads them to want to either seek shelter within (ranging from full assimilation and amalgamation to pluralistic in- tegration) or away from (pluralistic segregation to full separation) their relentless assailants. For those who feel they cannot or should not leave or know that the terror will follow them wherever they go but who refuse to accept a vanquished Status,rage and rebellion are natural and necessary characteristics. They know themselves as warriors engaged in a great struggle for sanity,identity and sovereignty of their people. We are dealing with a people who cannot live with constraints,moral or otherwise. We are dealing with a people who cannot be wrong. We are dealing with a people who cannot be healed because they do not see themselves as truly sick,or do not see their sickness as curable and refuse to commit suicide or institutionalize themselves. Insane people who know that they are insane,and see their insanity as fundamental to their survival,do not want to change,to become sane. And the recog- nition that one is mentally ill,once told,especially if repeatedly told by different socially and culturally unrelated people,must come from an internal awakening. For those of them who do not know who they are,we cannot make them see themselves for what they are because they do not want to see (moreover,it wastes precious time we need to spend healing ourselves). They know that a public confession of seeing themselves for what they are will undermine all rationalizations for their privilege. It should be carefully noted that when politically expedient, white people will allow bits and pieces of truth about their inhuman global aggressions trickle back into the public media. In order that the descendants of the victims of their imperialist killing frenzies will not choke on the flesh and blood of their Ancestors and rise up in indignant rage and revolution against their peoples' destroyers, truth is dispensed in digestible and favorably distorted droplets. They allow some truth to surface,like when they partially relinquish credit for those practices,symbols and things that Europeans "appro- priated" without crediting Afrikans. But this is not done to pay homage or to correct their lies or origins. There is no love,true remorse or emotional content.The quality of their intent is purely political. The goal is to prevent Afrikans from claiming their unique cultural imperatives independent of European sanction,cooptation and control. They still need us to see what it is to be Afrikan through their eyes. They aim to allow "us" to multicultralize the world with them remaining at its center.To state the logical ,his- torically informed,conclusion of any unbiased analysis of the ghost that plagues all multicultural efforts spearheaded by European interest, there is much in the European soul,nurtured in division and now committed to it,that might enable it to perceive the potential of human union,but never,from its own point of view,as anything other than a terrifying threat. 4 Now that a deeply ingrained love for and loyalty to the European has deformed and paralyzed the minds of our children,the perpetrators can make amends without compromising their privilege.In the midst of crocodile tears they can,with false apology but an undying, uncom- promised Ancestral loyalty,gradually divulge to some extent the "regrettable" atrocities of their overzealous misguided mothers and fathers. And we,dying to feel their pain,become their humanizers by bringing them yet another emotional/spiritual cleansing (e.g., Dr.Martin Luther King,Jr. and of late Ms.Oprah Winfrey) .Through this humane act of forgiveness,we expect to be rewarded with a final assimilation into an oblivious whiteness.We want no memory of what the European has destroyed. Without hesttation,we are supposed to readily accept the apologies of liars.Apologies from proven liars are meaningless.The politics of the powerful continue to mediate rose colored descriptions of their premeditated and unwarranted assaults to suit their image needs.Taking the next logical step from their bullshit words,their past actions must be presented to their victims as_necessary and correct in order for their rule to be accepted as necessary and civilizing. Enemies lie.That is part of warfare. It is an essential ingredient of any efficient arsenal.To tell your enemy the truth is to invite defeat.To be sincere with the insincere is dangerous. Apparently, as a people,we once knew this. Europeans should never be underestimated for their capacity to be insincere.They should be well congratulated for the skill with which they have inculcated a thriving self-hatred through cultural purgation among Afrikans.They rose because we fell. Period. Europeans are not Stupid. If they were,they would not be where we think they are. The bottom line is that we are a people at war. We must learn to read,assess,decode and appropriately respond to our historical enemies on all levels and by all means necessary.The profound realization that we must all come to is that we have in fact been at war literally for millennia and we would realize this if we would put down the ipads and cell phones long enough to see it. Afrika's children at home and in the diaspora are the descendants of prisoners of war taken in battle for Afrika's human and material or natural wealth,to be exploited by the non-Afrikan for exclusive benefit of the non-Afrikan. This war is real and perpetual.The battlefronts are psychic and physical.White supremacy by whatever appellation is a sickness that permeates and defines the European reality.This is the real pandemic that threatens the world today!
