Are North Carolina Prison Guards Confiscating Green Dots And Cashing Them In? By:Honest Willie Worley Jr. What if you were in prison, and you were talking to your girlfriend in California. She had just gave you a 14 digit refill pack number to buy your mother some flowers for mother's day. After talking to your girlfriend you hang up the phone, put the green dot numbers in your locker, and go take a shower. As you are getting out of the shower, heading back to your bed area, a prison guard ask to search your locker. While he searches your locker, he finds the 14 digit refill pack numbers. He takes the numbers. You protest. He gives you an option, either he confiscate the numbers, or he charge you with an inmate misconduct infraction? What would you do? Well like most prisoners who fell to think the situation through, you would probably give it to him, not realizing no prison rule has been broken. You may even come to the conclusion that you will just get your girlfriend to give you the same numbers again. Only when you reached her and had her check the numbers, they had been already uploaded to someone elses card. If it wasn't you or your girlfriend, that would leave only the prison guard. The mere mention of a prison guard "larceny", prisoners get a (A-18) misconduct infraction. A (A-18) basically is saying you are laying on the prison guard. Now not only have you lost money off the "green dot refill money pack", but you also lose $10.00 in administration fees for the (A-18) which will be almost impossible to beat. In North Carolina Prison Guards will go to any lengths to protect their co-workers lies. Even when it is as plain as the nose on their faces. It is almost impossible to design a rule that band prisoners from obtaining these 14 digit numbers. First of all. There is nothing illegal about remembering them, or writing them down on a piece of paper. They have absolutely nothing to do with the inmate trust fund system. They are not a money note from the federal reserve which are forbidden for prisoners to have on a card camp. So why are prison guards taking them, and why are prisoners discussing the money is being removed from the green dot refill pack. Amongst themselves. I'll tell you why, because for everything prison guards do wrong, they have an infraction that says they are right. These infractions are unavoidable and almost impossible to beat. The courts will side with prison guards acts after you have invested $350 court cost and $450 for an appeal. Our justice system has been catering to the rationalization of prison administrations. I know this because I have invested in lawsuits seeking justice, and all I've gotten were orders dismissing my lawsuits and more unavoidable misconduct infractions with a $10.00 administration fee attached. Courts need to weigh the facts a little more closely. When it comes to prison administrations conduct. Willie Worley Jr. Polkton, N.C.
