Being a 'Celldweller University' alumni has been from, the 'beginning' and always will be a constructive, positive, alternative to the usual 'corrossive'; negative mindset, that permeates the prison environment. For years I walked these yards and looked at all these faces, contorted, twisted and full of anger. Everyday men, fighting and rioting, causing harm to each other, conflicting and competing for mere crumbs out of desperation. Prisoners 'sinking' to their lowest forms of humanity. Why? For what? They're only a few of us celldwellers that finally awaken to see their humane side, 'slipping away' being replaced, by a creation, that someone else, had in 'mind' for them. They come, to 'see' a world created for them, by an authority, people, who are looking 'downward' at them, in an experimental 'box', conducting research on them. Engineering ways to influence their behavior. I was, once one of these human-experiments, (unknowingly), in a 'state' of ignorance, being programmed to believe the idea of 'survival of the fittest', using 'this' idea, inorder to 'justify' destroying the weak. In, my quest for survival 'self', a remarkable thing happened to me. Mentor's, planted a seed inside my 'brain' and they said to me, young man, 'free your mind', divorce yourself from the 'superman' fantasy, stop tryin' to 'immatate' the T.V., movies, filling your mind with the idea, the stronger, wealthier, means that the more 'power' we have, the more 'free' we are, no matter what the risks or, the consequences. That bad seed, 'eventually' took root. Yet that practical advice, would point me in the right direction leading me to apply myself soon, having an 'awakening' that still exists to this day...
