Levert III "Sekou" Brookshire Arizona Word Count: 274 Author: Sekou Jamaa Askari date: 8-6-13 Celldweller Journal: "We All, are Followers of Something" "Black August Essay's" (Entry Six) Words, make 'books' what they are; 'book's' make library's and library's make school's and university's, or celldweller univeristy's. Each of these, make us more informed and more educated. Some follow 'fashion', many follow 'sports', other's follow 'religion', alot follow 'gang's and everybody follow's 'money.' I, follow the 'politic's' behind them50 all to learn each system. Because, politic's are apart of everything, it's the 'give' and 'take.' The who get's what? And why? Where is mine? The 'system' for determining all of these things in the end is 'politick'. And the Greeks were the first to articulate the process of achieving50 Ones goal's, without the use of weapons, through humans affairs, believing that all conflict's can be, eventually resolved through 'reasoning'. A never-ending process of action and inaction. When this idea was introduced to me, I was dwelling inside a cell, just like the one I'm in today. In50 a short time later, another important 'breakthrough' occurred for me. Who did? and who didn't? Get to 'exercise' this system of politik, inorder to acquire what they wanted? This spurred me to search for answers, through books to see where political idea's were coming from? I wrestled with who's ideas50 best represented me and my situation. Those ideas which represented the more educated, wealthier citizens or the idea's that 'represented' the 'poorest', most 'uneducated' citizens. For me, it became apparent there was never any representation in the political-system for me. Barrack Obama's skin color represented me, but50 not his idea's. 'Skin' complexion don't benefit you, in this political game, only your political skill-level, get's you to achieve your goals. I learned politic's is force without aggression.33 Levert "Sekou" Brookshire 283 words
