Criminal Justice System, Hypocrisy By Wesley Carroll Isn't it amazing? I and many thousands of others have been saying for many years, that the so called entire criminal justice system, is totally broken. Not until after so many of us have been wrongfully passively injured by it, and much public protest, officials now say the same thing. It has been a proven fact for many years that it is totally ineffective, broken, discriminatory, and in many cases has killed. Where is the real criminal justice? The accountability, the oversight, those to look over those given such "legal" life and death power. Many innocent citizens, their families, their children, their property etc., has and continues to be "wrongfully illegally, falsely, taken and destroyed." We use to pretend that innocence until proven guilty was the basis for our so-called legal system. However note, the Senates confirmation of David Barron as a judge in the U.S. Circuit of Appeals. Barrons' confirmation has relieved us of the burden of such hypocrisy. Now we can finally confirm that guilt or innocence has nothing to do with justice (or just us). As they see him, Barron is the fine upstanding lawyer at the Department of Justice. However David Barron, attorney (now Justice) also wrote a legal memo in 2010 assuring us that the U.S. government can arbitrarily decide people are guilty, then assassinate them without wasting time and resources on the inconvenience of a trial. We can kill anybody we suspect of being an imminent threat, anywhere in the world... Barrons historic memo is still a secret though. No one outside of the government has actually a chance to read it yet... We've been assured that an edited version will be released so that the average American citizen, or the so called little people, can at least sort of see why we no longer need to be troubled by the myth of "the rule of law" in our society...people like Barron...awarded with judgeships...get on with the real business of our legal system, the glorification of might makes right. Thus the absurd machinations of our government which allow the power elite to literally get away with murder." Thus, isn't it amazing? I and many thousands of others have been saying for many years, that the so called entire criminal justice system, is totally broken, and remains still broken further destroying more thousands of lives, to this day.
