May 2020 RE: Permission page enclosed dear APWA.... Greetings, I've written before I'm following up my position being in Gen. Population, I dont have many I write to in the "free" world, to print pages of my writings, I do write another type articles to a "free blog" its Between The Bars.org I located it years back as I began using resource directories, I wrote radical magazines and organizations, before I left Death Row, yes I was once a condemned man...for a little over 2 decades I occupied my time, firstly writing to individuals whom I talked to around me...let me give those who maybe read this, I got locked up and sent to TX death row 1988, but in about a few months I had a evidentiary hearing as I went back it was the beginning of 1989, I was sent to Ellis One Unit....there we had the oppurtinity to work, in a garment factory I did so for years, I even became a SSI [customianing?] as there called, but we also had then, in cell crafts, you were able to make wood projects & other types of items, as I said write to me 2 and I can fill it all in to you...but it was 1998 on thanksgiving day... 7 death rows tried to escape... All but 6 were later caught 1 was on the lamb for about 10 days, it was cold and rainy that night... Afterward the state did try to make some renovations, it wasnt til mid 1999-2000...when about 100 inmates were moved, the unit at 1st was called Charles T. Terrell in Livingston TX....this was not all but in mid 2000 all 360 others on D/R were moved....allot was in the media & even video taped showing the move....they at first said it was due to the expanding of 460 but we all later realized the unit at again was renamed Allen B. Polunsky 3872 Fm 350 S. Livingston, TX 77351 For 12 years I remember it like it was yesterday....there was allot of violence at Ellis One...that wasnt the 1st escape for 10 yrs I truly remember 5 others whom attempted....knowing what goes on in a state prison isnt always put 3 in the news or media....I can tell most books about Tdc...see it was mid-90's when Tdc was changed to Tdcj-I.d. Working as a SSI...Staff Support Inmate...they get mouthy its like the old saying some have a mouth like a ship...it will sink if you have a mouth...like a sailor it can sink a battleship....its true I assisted officers on a death row wing...I helped & did things to support them...G-15 was the wing I was on....I lived on H-17...I was a 1st Shift SSI....1993 til 1996....I was only 28 yrs old when I 1st got to D/R I'm now 60 yrs old.... I have a friend who I write to Between The Bars.org last night I got in a Jpay.com its a E-mail we can have sent in its on-line www.jpay.com write letters and even send money.... Right now... I'm in general population on The Robertson Unit 12071 FM 3522 Abilene, TX 79601 We've been on a quarantine type lockdown since April 8th...We dont 4 come up til 22nd...unless someone else tests positive to COVID-19.... lockdown to me is easy...Being I've got a cell-mate...its easy to do I'm used to 45 days back to back...it is like if you lock yourself in the bathroom....for a day or try over a weekend...Live with a toilet for 12 yrs? the cell is clean, which responsibility is shared, but at nite...cockroaches do run on the floor & toilet...as if to drink water.... I am not living in a motel or hotel, its prison cell...I eat & sleep in the same....for now, but basically most ask me what its like I give a example to their living were they are...I was given a reversal due to my appeals, when your on death row...you automatically set up appeals, CCA, Fed, S.Ct. ...Now its all time applied your limited, back in time I 1st came here, you could go to each court numerous times, its not like that now....but the High Court gave me the reversal which demanded me a punishment phrase trial....I waived it due to 5 the state agreed to make me a plea deal, I agreed for 2 1/2 yrs later I signed in 2015 for 2-consecutive capt. life sentences...most wouldnt of, but I figured long term results the death penalty will be thrown out, thats when I'll appeal.... Most don't realize the state is holding the death penalty over me...so if then I could get 1-life then I'll have 5 or more lifes done...I've been here 32 flat yrs.... Input is what I'm seeking to these writings, to educate society is a two way street...as I read this submission page...there is no other experience first-hand that ones survival...is the key to day to day living correct....to help for those to understand...is inter-action...www.jpay.com is being....Anonymous, you could write me thru my blog Betweenthebars.org give me advice or even ask me what you want to know about prison life? Realize I've requested copies of your (permissions) but I live around 72 plus inmates, I've posted your name & address but most want 6 info...What is APWA...So forth...
