DEAR,FAMILY & READER'S 1-4-21 FIGHTING OFF THIS COV/19 HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE.THIS HAS BEEN ONE OF THE WORST TIMES I HAVE ENCOUNTER- 'ED.without treatment,and doing it in this prison sytem.by far any walk in the park,and nobody is ready for this bitch of a virus no matter what you say or i say .even if your in the best of health,or the worst physical condition.working in the front, line.Going on a whole year cleaning and sanitizing everything in this prison with bleach and other chemical this administrative, has offered.But once again,we as the people of texas Or in the united states of america,was ready for this……. whats ironic,that i never got sick.tell the end of decemember, On x-mas day i was dying and couldn"t understand how the hell, could this happen to me.well let me break it down for you.my cellmate or room mate,acquired it from are living quarters,or dining era.keep in mind that im working a shift that has no hours,much less payment.as a inmate of T.D.C.J. you are subject to work for no pay?ya thats ludicrous but its the honest truth yes they have this nice set up where it looks like an inmate, recieves good time or time credit.the truth of that matter is its all front for the numbers in the books so the funding can keep rolling in,and the papertrail can speak for its self.now you have to look deep due to the fact that the big dogs,or let me say the goverment,members of are country.thathave it all figured out.now back to the labor,cruel,and unusual punishment, the sytem here in texas,falls into two.one is non= aggravated, offence,and two aggravated offence.wich they are two major factor in this sytem.non agg offenders recieve two days credit no - matter if they work or sit in the cell all day long,or file Some medacial conditition.where they can not work.now offender number two with agg time dont get no two days or any kind of credit,basicly modern day slave and thats the cold thruth... a job in texas prison is required,no ands ifs or buts..you will have a job and if you think that your not going to show up for work think again,they have a flawess sytem that has a Case sytem that are minor and major infractions.refuse to work will get you the short end of the stick.so to speak!,you will lose all privilege's.what privileges we have? well using the pay phone for one,two go to commissary and buy food and hygiene,and other necssity now keep in mind if you have any, funds coming in from family.or a self business,or a goverment check?other than that your stuck like chuck....this texas prison sytem will break you.they do not feed like the guide lines show.na' its only enough to get you by.with hard labor an inmate will require certin amount of calories as intake for his body to carry him tell the next meal,but not here in this sytem if you dont have commissary you will find it mighty hard.thats why inmates are trying everything in their power to get the sytem to start paying us for are work skills and labor..now im going to cover some job titles,they are called T.C.I. industrous. where a number of items are made for there own prison sytem ya' how ironic! we make it all, from the matts to cups they sell back to us in the commissary.well its the truth,and you have union hours,and no breaks.now there guide lines will say different thats why its hard to prove,this fact....but im, going to try and bring some light to this cruel,and unusual-punishment.
