I have always wanted to do something with my ability to relate my thought on all the book I have read. Let me explain when I came to prison 2012 the only book I ever read was the bible. I cant remember reading in school because I never like the subject. After about the 100th book I stoped reading novels and begin to read nothing but auto, or self help book. As time passed I begin to think about the people just like me who didnt read or the ones who only liked urban novels were the same future goes for everybody. To me urban novels is a vain attempt to embelish the bad side of the game. I want to teach my brotha's and sista's that they can prosper with out urban problem. In my neiborhood you had two choices: dead or in jail and everybody reminded you of this. So with a predicted future already told to (us) why try to do anything different? Remember - to be different is to be uncool or weird to be caught with a book meant getting beat up. Society teaches us to use our fist, gun, knives instead of our brains, pens, papers. If I got to be uncool or weird to make it cool again then I will die just that way. We have no Martin, Malcolm, Angela, its time for us to have a better solution because my kids deserve better than this.
