Aug-16-2017 In regards to the Oregon prison system it is not necessary to validate confidential informants statements of other prisoners causing long extended stays in OSU "the hole"... Most of us here in OSU are here on false trumped up charges by confidential informants hearsay. This is all due to hearings officers being biassed and not impartial for not validating the credibility or reliability of confidential informants... Not only are we falsely charged for lies and trumped up write ups we are also fined $200.00 dollars and sent to O.S.U. for 180-days again based on confidential informants statements. Here in Oregon Snake River prison if you are labeled "S.T.M." Security Threat Group, you can be placed in OSU under the pretense of investigation with no reason given for 180-days with no remedy or recourse to contest false charges based on hearsay alone... This is a clear case of due process violations of the fourteenth amendment to the United States Constitution of America. Most of the false charges never make it to court for the lack of inmates knowledge of the law and resources that therefore go unchallenged...
