By: Jessica Chambers 3-10-20 Medically trained or not: Where did you get your degree? NDOC FMWCC Las Vegas, NV. Sience 7-28-19 I had been receiving medical care and a variety of antibiotics for my toe. After several rounds of antibiotics plus minor toe surgery my toe still remained infected. Swab cultures and nail specimen were taken on 10-17-19 and 10-18-19 but the idiotic quack doctor didn't wait for the results before giving me surgery because I guess he received his MD from a Cracker Jack box. On 10-18-19 surgery was done on my toe and part of my nail was removed and I received stitches on my toe. The idiot doctor never gave me crutches and I was forced to have to walk to breakfast and dinner, just so I can eat and not starve with stitches in my foot. On 10-21-19 I was seen in medical to change my bandage and was informed that my toe was still infected. What doctor in their right mind does surgery on a patient with an infection still in their toe? My God what is the world coming to! Surgery should have never been done with an infection still in my toe. After an emergency grievance because the doctor after the first bandage change left the next bandaid on my toe for 7 days and never scheduled me for a bandage change, wow....I was admitted to medical on 10-30-19 for 10 days and released. Mind you during my 10 day stay in medical no nurse stopped by to check on me or change my bandage. Only came by my door to sign a piece of paper on the outside of my door saying they checked on me. Only had interaction with staff when they showered me, fed me or gave me my medication. In order to get my bandaid changed I had to get the attention of staff/ C/O or nurse to demand that my bandage get changed. Prior to my medical stay I had been seen by medical 15 times at least to try and resolve this issues and no nurse or doctor new what was going on. FMWCC is where inmates' medical needs are neglected constantly. I was on a medical lay in from school and any serious walking. As of 11-13-19 my toe seemed to still be infected. I was placed on antibiotics 10 different times for the infection. All the antibiotics that I was given seemed to no longer be working. My toe was still discolored, had open wound and discharge of yellow liquid seeping out. My toe was also still swollen and it hurt. I was unable to wear a shoe on my right foot. I had to wear a shower shoe with a sock for months looking like an idiot myself. My major concern was that the infection, that appeared to still be in my toe would somehow complicate my heart condition or cause an infection in my blood. Sience my surgery my thigh has become numb and is currently still numb as of 3-10-20. For the longest time I couldn't properly bend my toe and my joint hurt. Till this day my toe is healed but ugly as hell. Still discolored redish, scarred and toe nail trying to revive it's self. My tissue never went back the right way because surgery was done on my toe with an infection in it. This is my horror story of FMWCC Las Vegas, NV NDOC. Please don't send back to me
