Curtis Garner Pennsylvania Friday, 12-19-14 New Covenant Those cops can kill us whenever, wherever, and however they feel like. We know it, they know it, and ever body in America knows it. The message has been sent, and proclaimed, by the actions taken by the judiciary branch in each and every case in recent memory. A new level of animosity and distrust has been "achieved". Gone are the days when brown men were nervous or uncomfortable when we saw a cop in our rear view. Now, say your prayers; this has become a matter of life or death everytime we encounter a cop on the street or get pulled over. For one day, switch places with us. Imagine how you would feel in our skin every time you came out of the house or got in your car. We are fugitives from a justice that was never for us. Somebodys' not home in the land of the free and they're not being that brave. I know everybody doesn't feel we are less than human, but when will they confront and eradicate those who do? Or can they? Curtis Garner
