Playing with the Giants Last night I watched a movie in the prison chapel, and it was called "Playing with Giants". Its about a coach and his high school football team. This team was under manned, out sized and did not have the talent and speed as most other teams they played. They had a losing record for six years and has never been to the playoffs. A state championship was not even thinkable. The coach and his wife were christian people but were not using Gods help in their lives. He started asking God for more advise, praising him more. He started teaching his team about God and how they should worship him. How they should believe in theirself. How they can be the greatest they can be and never give up. Praise God win or loose. Putting God first and asking him to guide them through. Under Gods leadership they were winning games and did win a state championship over the Giants that were much bigger, faster and more talent. But God was in each player and they accepted him in their hearts and they each worked harder and believed that they can do it. With God they can do it. They believed they can be the greatest that they can be and will never quit. They will be winners in Gods eyes, win or loose. But they won. I cried through the whole movie, A doctor told me to stop the anti-depressant pills so I guess I will cry if you look at me wrong. I believe that it is true that if you let God into your heart good things will happen, but you also have to believe in yourself and believe that you can be the greatest that you can be. As God to forgive you for your sins. Read his word and follow in his footsteps. Don't hide your feelings, praise him win or loose. Let him let you ignore your negative thoughts and memories of negative actions. When your negative thoughts come into your head look up and put a smile on your face and turn your thoughts into positive thoughts. Think only of positive and fun memories. When negatives flash back again look up to him with a smile and they will disappear and only think about fun time memories. Today is the first day of the rest of your life so do not let anything let you down because you are great and you will be the greatest you can be today. Love the ones that love you, but also be kind to your enemys, greet them with a smile. Its hard to not like someone that is smiling. Treat everyone with greatness and respect. Hard times may never be over, there may be many obstacles in your way. Deal with them with Gods help and never give up. You will over come all obstacles and hard times by smiling and looking to him for help. Do all you can do and be the greatest you can be. Don't let your work control you, God and you can control your work and leave plenty of time for him and your family. Be Happy enjoy having fun. God will help you put the negative thoughts and memories in the recycle bin. He will help you keep a smile on your face. As I am sitting here writing I am crying again. I have changed, I believe that I can be the greatest I can be. I will keep a smile on my face and will not think negative thoughts and memories. I will only think of good memories and make this the best day I can make it with a smile. My future will be great and my family and I will make only good memories and have fun. I can and beat the Giants whomever or what ever it will be. I will keep a smile on my face and praise him win or loose. But I do not plan on loosing.
