PRISON REFORM NOW (P.R.N.) ACTION ALERT!!! An Action Alert was previously dispersed throughout the population regarding S8129. For those that missed the notification, S8129 (if passed) will require offenders to pay 50 cents per visit for all non-emergency medical examinations or treatment. S8129 has passed the House and is now before the Senate. Therefore, we have one last opportunity to present opposition to S8129 before it is enacted and becomes law. Family and friends are strongly encouraged to write letters, email, or call the sponsors of this Bill to show their opposition. (Sponsors listed below) Remember Health Care for offenders is required by Missouri Statute 217.230, and the 8th and 14th Amendments of the U.S. Constitution further establish this right. Rep.
